When activated, the plugin enables the ability to send informational messages via Telegram.
A "Telegram" section appears in the admin menu. This section contains settings and templates for messages sent, as well as logs.
To configure message sending, go to the "Telegram" section.
You will be taken directly to the settings page.
In the "Basic Data" tab
You must enter your Telegram administrator username. Administrative messages will be sent to this username.
Telegram sends messages through a bot created in it. Without the bot, messages will not be sent. For messages, the bot must be unique.
Bot Settings:
Token
Enter the token received from your Telegram bot.
Multicurl
If you plan to send multiple messages, enable this parameter. Otherwise, simply ignore it.
Log bot requests
The bot will log server responses when attempting to send a message or attempting activation. These responses can be used to test its operation.
Log user requests
When a user sends a message to the bot, we can save them for future review and testing.
Welcome message
The first message a user will receive when they first contact our bot.
Please note that the bot does not send messages on its own. The user must message the bot first, and then the bot will be able to send further information.
After you've created the bot and entered its token in the settings, you need to activate it.
To do this, follow the link used to register the webhook.
After registering the webhook, the bot will send all enabled messages.
Test
After you've entered all the settings, you can test sending a message. In the text block, you can enter the login of a user who has already sent a message to the bot and is associated with it, and test sending the message.
Message Templates
By default, Telegram message templates are not configured. They must be configured manually.
To configure a specific message, sеlect the template you want in the active selector at the top of the page.
The template settings have just a few fields:
Send
Whether to send this type of message.
Text
The text of the message to be sent.
