New event indicators are notifications in the admin bar that display the number of new actions.
For example, if someone adds a review to the site, a review indicator will appear with the number of new reviews. Clicking the icon in the admin bar will quickly take you to the new reviews page.
The indicator icon display function is located within the CMS itself and cannot be enabled or disabled separately.
An inactive indicator icon (if there are no new events) looks like this:

Clicking on a specific event will quickly take you to the event page:
Indicators are very convenient to use, but they do place additional load on the server. That's why there's a settings page for displaying indicators. On the settings page, you can disable the display of a specific indicator.
To access the settings page, click the indicator icon.
