Regardless of whether you have an SEO plugin enabled, your website has a pre-installed file for robots. It's called robots.txt.
The file is accessible at: your_domain_name/robots.txt
It contains pre-configured settings for robots.
This file is virtual and not located on the server. If you upload a physical file to the server, the physical file will be displayed, and the settings will not apply.
